Following is an ongoing list for Human Resource reference, recommended by MCHA membership and updated by our Training & Development Committee. Please email with additional resources or areas of interest.

Sexual Harassment
California Department of Fair Employment

California law requires all employers of 5 or more employees to provide training to its supervisory and non-supervisory employees on sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention. Every two years, non-supervisory employees must receive at least one hour of training and supervisory employees must receive at least two hours of training.

CPR & First Aid
National CPR Foundation
Learn useful skill techniques through virtual demonstrations with online certification and renewal courses.

Food Handling
National Restaurant Association
ServSafe – Training and exams available online and for the classroom in several languages. Training certification includes: Food Handler, Food Manager, Allergens, Workplace and Alcohol Certification

Study at your own pace, state-approved alcohol and food handler training.
