MONTEREY – Ted Balestreri came to live on the Monterey Peninsula when he was a teen. He was hungry, literally and figuratively. But through work in the restaurants and hotels of the area, he nourished what would become a lifelong passion in the hospitality industry.
His belief in taking chances and never fearing failure, along with always realizing “what’s important now,” recently earned him another accolade, among many, a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Monterey County Hospitality Association.
