Annual Dinner

The MCHA Annual Awards Dinner is one of the organization’s major fundraisers, and includes the presentation of the prestigious Hospitality Professional of the Year award. The honor recognizes an individual, chosen by his or her peers, who has made significant contributions to the overall good of Monterey County’s hospitality industry.

Hosted by the current MCHA board president, this popular gathering brings together MCHA members and supporters for an evening of dining, auction festivities and opportunities to socialize with local professionals. Funds from this annual event help MCHA administer government affairs, education and scholarship programs, along with events that honor Monterey County’s 20,000+ hospitality employees. A successful dinner boosts the organization’s operating budget and keeps dues low for all members.
