As President, I inherit a fiscally sound organization that is committed to balancing the budget in 2010. I inherit an organization that puts on one of the best annual dinners and the must attend Golf Tournament of the year. I inherit an organization that will continue to appreciate, recognize and train the hard working employees that are the backbone of our Hospitality Industry. And I inherit an organization dedicated to representing all of our members in government affairs issues and political advocacy.
We will look to strengthen our Education and Training component to better inform, educate and train members and their employees in basic hospitality principles and current issues relevant to the Hospitality Industry.
Our Government Affairs Committee we will continue to work hard on City, County and State issues that affect our Hospitality Community. As our motto says we are the “Voice of our Hospitality Community” and we will make sure our hospitality community is well represented.
And we will have some fun along the way!
We are a membership organization and we will do our best to bring value to our membership with the Monterey County Hospitality Association.
