This presentation will discuss the employment law changes on tap for 2018, and what HR professionals and employers must know and do to avoid the risk that results from uninformed decisions.
Jeanine will preview the new rules that effect California employers in 2018, including another round of minimum wage increases, new-hire changes, expansion of protections from discrimination for employees and the new parental leave rules. She’ll also review cases from 2017 (and items “in the news”) and actions by various government agencies that employers should know about. You’ll leave with a list of action items to focus on, and other items to think about!
